The event location is ideal for a wedding party. The building has been extensively renovated and now looks really good. There is enough space below to celebrate and above to dine. The view from the top of the dance floor is very cool and the chandeliers look great. On the roof terrace you can enjoy the good weather and, for example, set up a bar. The space in the yard is great for a wedding ceremony. It’s really nice. And the surrounding area is very charming and offers a lot for photo shoots. A big thank you also goes to the landlords, who gave us dedicated advice and were always available. In the location, pretty much everything you can imagine for your wedding celebration is possible.

Very nice atmosphere and decor. We were there for Christmas dinner, but overall we are disappointed. The vegetarian dish in particular was a big disappointment. So a kind of spaetzle was served instead of dumplings. That would have been ok, but the tofu was lovelessly prepared and tasteless like the spaetzle. Another dish had the salmon and side dish drowned in sauce. The complaint was dealt with professionally and two other supplements were given. We preferred to avoid dessert. After such a Christmas dinner we went home pretty frustrated. Too bad.

What a pitty! On the way from Cologne to Krefeld we only left the motorway because of this restaurant. Google was "open at 18 clock" and also on the website we could not find anything contrary. Only on site we found a note that from July 2019 a new owner no longer operates day catering here. Really very annoying. Lets close to bad organization! All ratings before July 2019 should be deleted!

In the past really a top restaurant, now there are new owners in it which offer the premises only as an event location! Have requested there for a celebration. The event planning is grotesque, waiting too long for an offer, repeatedly in demand and received no reasonable feedback. Priced too much - "event manager", for example, flat rate is charged with 350.00 € !!! For such a bad preparation by the event manager I would not even pay 1 €!

Very nice designed terrace. The salad with salmon was delicious. An unfamiliar compilation. A taste explosion on the palate. Then a walk along the Rhine and through a very nice little place. A successful evening.

Food was very good, the wine was excellent. The service very attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable.

After we were excited about the first visit of quantity and quality, we were disappointed on the second visit: The food tastes not as good and quantitatively much smaller - but the prices were increased. The server probably had a very bad day and was rather grumpy after asking if we could change the side dish of a dish. There were a few things that did not make the evening very nice. Conclusion: We lost as a customer.

Nice atmosphere, even at late hours it can live well here. It is excellent and the drinks are also deliciously refreshing. The tomato soup was unfortunately sometimes a little bit salted but this was clever so that the guests then delete the salty taste with drinks. Great ambience in the old customs house and attentive service. The tables are generously placed in the room and so does not come Close up. The food was delicious and tastefully prepared. The prices are moderate and the selection of menus and Dishes are good and manageable. Pay attention to daily recommendation.

We were here for a wedding and all the people working there were absolutely wonderful, kind and friendly, helped my friends and all guests have an incredible day we will remember forever. The location is amazing, the garden outside beautiful, the food was also really really tasty especially Fish Ragout. I would love to eat here again sometime!

The ambience is wonderful, it looks really great, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. We were there in a group for the last 3 times and everyone was so disappointed that we didn't want to go there anymore. Pity

Very good food with unique preparations

Great service, nice people. Really surprising! Highly recommended. The decor is a bit dated, but the food is very tasty and consistent. There's nothing to complain about here - in our experience. The restaurant is not a 5-star establishment, but it doesn't matter! Always my pleasure.

What a journey through time. As soon as you have passed the entrance area, you are pleasantly surprised by what awaits you. Prices moderate, coffee is delicious and the treats for a Sunday afternoon also taste good. A heavenly place for weddings, anniversary celebrations or to enjoy birthdays in style.

A great restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The finest antique shops can be found in every room. The food blew me away, nice host and quick service. I can only recommend the old customs house. I'm looking forward to the next time.
